Organic Teaguy Masala Chai
$14.00 – $132.00
Description
Masala Chai – the aromatic tea drink whose roots can be found throughout India, Pakistan and all the way down the Himalaya. In it’s classic form, it’s a beautiful, sweet concoction of strong tea, cinnamon, clove, anise, ginger, cardamom and quite often black peppercorns. Your home will smell like a spice factory when you steep this slowly over low heat for a few hours. Expect people to linger..
The Teaguy has been blending Chai since the late 90’s. Getting a Masala blend to be balanced, rich and smooth takes some skill. Through numerous years of tweaking we have achieved a Chai which Ghandi himself may have coveted. You too are worthy of a hot mug, or perhaps two.

I’m a big chai tea drinker and have honestly have travelled near and far to try chai tea. I have also ordered chai tea from several tea companies. The Teaguy’s chai tea is truly one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s got a nice balance between all the spices and the tea. And there’s also a little something extra and different about it that makes it a unique version that will be hard to come by elsewhere. If you love chai, you should definitely give this one a try. You won’t be disappointed.
This is probably the most flavourful chai I’ve ever had! The use of real ingredients instead of artificial makes for a bold, spicy flavour bordering on TOO spicy if you steep it for too long (like I usually do because I like a strong black tea). This is not a tea for someone who doesn’t like ginger or someone who enjoys a plain cup of Assam. But it’s great for those days you’re feeling adventurous!
My dear friend Ben gifted me this tea blend and I find it wonderful. I am a latino woman, so I very much appreciate spices. I have also traveled throughout India and had masala chai with freshly squeezed ginger pretty much every day I was there, so I have a good reference point of what a good masala chai could taste like. I find this blend to be very well balanced and I love it that it comes unsweetened! This allows me to play with the sweetness level or to leave out sweeteners altogether to enjoy the natural sweet flavours of the spices. Great job. Thank you!
