Not all vanilla extracts are created equally, nor taste the same. Our chief Tea Sommelier spent a great deal of time, exploring and tasting what was available for vanilla Rooibos tisanes. The result was most always a let down. So when we decided to create our own version of this super popular tisane, we chose the Madagascar Bourbon varietal vanilla bean. We soaked the rooibos in this for an extended time, cupped it, and were ecstatic with the results. We feel we've created one of the best Bourbon Vanilla Rooibos tisanes available, and our long list of customers agree with us!

About This Tea

Ingredients: Organic Rooibos, Organic Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla

Nuances: Strong bourbon taste, rich vanilla, creamy and sensual.

Steeping Essentials

• Teaspoon: 2 level
• Water: 12 oz, 195F / 90ºC
• Timer: 5-10 minutes
• Storage: Sealed light proof jar/tin in a cool cupboard. Keep away from heat and light sources.
• Best Before: 6-9 months depending on storage. Optimum freshness in the first 6 months after opening

The tea has such a nice aroma, and the Bourbon adds a little extra punch. The first time I had this tea in a cafe, I was amazed! The flavor was outstanding! Eventually, I found out which company made the tea, so I ordered some. It is a smooth-tasting tea and soothing. I have had some difficulty with caffeinated teas, so this has really been a wonderful new addition to my tea collection.
