Don't let the leaves fool you. When I opened the bag and saw the twisty OP grade, a flavour memory jumped into my consciousness. Dissing the bias that came from cupping lots of these, I cleared my head, my nose and my palate and took the inaugural slurp. Clean, very Ceylon, chestnut and floral, medium to light body with crisp tannins. I was loving it. If you know and like great Sri Lankan teas, this will please you a lot.

Steeping Essentials

• Teaspoon: 2 level
• Water: 12 oz, less than 195ºF / 90ºC
• Timer: 3-5 minutes
• Storage: Sealed light proof jar/tin in a cool cupboard. Keep away from heat and light sources.
• Best Before: 6-9 months depending on storage. Optimum freshness in the first 6 months after opening

Sets the standard!

This Ceylon tea checks all the boxes for a black tea without adding any unnecessary flavouring. Smooth, full black tones that never reach the bitter notes other black teas sometimes offer if you like to let your tea steep awhile.
