Direct from the Tinsukia District in Upper Assam, we introduce an exceptionally rich and smooth organic top-grade Assam. This 100 Ha organic tea garden is one of the few that is managed predominantly by women. The taste is rounded and malty with some creamy weight on the tongue. Notes of honey and sugarcane fill the mouth, while the finish is molasses and raisins. An excellent example of what the Assam Valley can produce when conditions and processing are optimal.

Steeping Essentials

• Teaspoon: 2 level
• Water: 12 oz, less than 195ºF / 90ºC
• Timer: 3-5 minutes
• Storage: Sealed light proof jar/tin in a cool cupboard. Keep away from heat and light sources.
• Best Before: 6-9 months, depending on storage. Optimum freshness in the first 6 months after opening
