Harvested in the autumn months, this tea offers a deeper, more rounded character than the bright, floral first flushes Darjeeling is known for. The grade FTGFOP1 indicates a high proportion of fine, tippy leaves, while the SF designation refers to “Special Fine” leaf quality — a quality marker, not a flush classification.

The liquor is a clear amber-gold, with a smooth, structured body and excellent balance.
