Cafe Grade Matcha from Japan

Due to the seasonal sellout of our beloved Matcha Kakitsubata before the arrival of the new harvest in Japan, we are pleased to offer a limited replacement until fresh harvest teas become available.

Organic Japan Matcha is a smooth, versatile cafe grade matcha selected specifically for everyday latte service, culinary use, and high-volume café preparation. While it is not quite as vibrant green as our premium Matcha Kakitsubata, it still offers a pleasant balance of fresh vegetal notes, and mild umami.

Because of the extremely limited availability of organic matcha at the end of harvest season, pricing from origin has increased significantly this year. Despite this, we have worked to keep pricing as accessible as possible for our customers.

Preparation Notes:
Best prepared with water between 75–80°C to preserve the matcha’s smoothness and delicate vegetal notes.

Steeping Essentials

• Teaspoon: .5 level 2 oz hot water (<180°F)° Whisk Matcha until smooth Top up with 8 oz steamed milk
• Storage: Sealed light proof jar/tin in a cool cupboard. Keep away from heat and light sources.
• Best Before: 6-9 months depending on storage. Optimum freshness in the first 6 months after opening
