Trying to create an amazing caffeine free Chai is nebulous at best. With limited options in the world of robust herbal tisanes and decaf black tea being too washed out, Rooibos arrives as somewhat of a savior. We used the spice recipe from our black Chai, strengthened it a little more and mixed it in with organic Rooibos. The result is a totally meaningful cup of delicious red bush Chai.

About This Tea

Ingredients: Organically grown South African Rooibos, organic cardamom, organic cinnamon, organic cloves, organic ginger and organic black pepper.

Nuances: Slightly spicy notes of ginger, cinnamon, and clove.

Steeping Essentials

• 1 Tea Sachet
• Water: 12 oz, less than 195ºF / 90ºC
• Timer: 5-10 minutes
• Storage: Sealed light proof jar/tin in a cool cupboard. Keep away from heat and light sources.
• Best Before: 6-9 months depending on storage. Optimum freshness in the first 6 months after opening
